Meat & Bread is a sandwich shop started in Gastown that is known for their Porchetta sandwiches. They were featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. They have expanded to more locations in Vancouver, Victoria and Seattle. Each location serves their famous Porchetta sandwich.
This franchise is our favourite pork ramen in Vancouver. The only thing is, we found the Robson location slower with receiving our food after ordering comparing to the Kits location. The benefit is that this is a larger shop.

Aubade is one of those places we bring friends who want to have a good cup of filtered coffee. It's as awesome watching him craft coffee and talking about his process as it is to taste the final product.
Although Dinesty won many awards, we wouldn't recommend going out of your way to go here. They are average at best, but in the West End, they fill the void for acceptable Chinese food. It's a decent option for those who live in the area and don't want to make a trip far. It's very friendly to customers new to Chinese food as there are photos for every menu item and the interior is very clean. There is usually a wait for a table but it shouldn't take too long as tables are in and out pretty fast.
Moving Coffee defines what is excellent coffee. They source specialty grade green coffee that are roasted and brewed by them.
Nemesis Coffee has secured itself as one of my favourite spots for coffee. The coffee served here is top notch! The food is quite unique too and props to chef for using coffee as an ingredient in some of the dishes.
